About me:
Again deeply involved in study of Biomathematics I finally added some
life to this pages and (re)published some of the stuff that I wished to be readable here.
So, what's biomathematics?.. Well, take molecular live science, ecology and computer science. Mix it with lots of maths,
add a bit physics, cut the non theoretical parts and you are done..
Despite the diversity of subjects it's realy great as is the town i'm studying in.
Besides I can finally do some language courses here too,
so i started english for mathematicians and biologist, some latin and greek
(you realy need this and a basic understanding of old german writing to
understand a math lecture! ;)

- Born in the city of Templin I grew up in one of only two places in central europe not affeced by Chernobyl.
- Kindergarden, Primary School and A-Level in Biology, Math, Latin, Geography and Computer Science (for a dynamic list implementation).
- I attempted a gap year in environmental sector instead of doing a Civil Service.
This was the great time I could worked as goatherd on a farm 60 km (about 40 miles) north of berlin that only has a phone (in the main building), an energy line, a too easily frozen water supply (thanks to many a candle for thawing it again and again) and not much more...
It was quiet interesting to live nearly without mobile phone and post (mailbox) an hour away. Being all day out with the goats (140 ladies, 3 guys and 20-300 little ones depending on the time of year) you have much time to think!
- I started an apprenticeship at a small Internet Agency and leaned something about Webdevellopment and lots of PHP.
The idea of a Specimen Database was born two month before, but dropped due to time. Later the same year a guy in Berlin used the same idea to make a lot of money (well, no plain animal/plant names in his case)
Together with Gabriel Dobersch I started to devellop the Tool (Footwork) behind this page which grew much better over the coming months.
- Study of Biomathematics at the University of Greifswald
Besides the study I'm develloping with Java and still doing some PHP. - Finished my first java application for a governmental agency. (Easy job, but quiet hard cooperation..)
Started the study of hand bookbinding. - Paused study due to illness.
Added scripts and backend to the Framework to build a minimum managing system for www.sarahpenz.de. - Continued study..
