Wolf information

A few word about the wolf information

Since September 2007 a web site is growing here that is intended to contain all the basic knowledge of wolves humans have by now.
The realisation of this not quiet trivial project will be done trough chapter to single topics around wolves (e.g. hunting behaviour, wolf-prey-relation, systematics, conservation, anatomy, senses, population, distribution, food, habitats, human-wolf conflicts and many other behavioural and ecological topics). Due to limited time first translations of chapters published in 2005 will be provided that will get worked out and actualised later. Such chapters likely do not contain figures and are thought as orientation. Over the coming month they will get extended and gain some depth. Information about Sources, Figures and Recommendations will be added in the Appendices.
A complete directory of all published contents is contained in the TOC. Usually a few days later terms and definitions are found in the Glossary and can be reviewed there as in a dictionary.

To preserve a high quality of the given material sources will be added below each chapter and information given will get approved by consulting scientific literature. But anyways I can not completely guaranty that no systematic errors were made and might have gotten something wrong by accident or missing knowledge. If such happens and something might seem wrong please send a message that names the mistake.
