Here you will find short introductions to mathematics growing on the wide grounds of arithmetic, analysis, (linear) algebra, calculus and discrete structures.
This page has an educational background and will supply terms and definitions for the named branches. It will cover only the first four terms of mathematics study. Exercises and references are listed if present are might likely be german only (e.g. Book).
Information found here can be used freely (including exercise) for educational purpose. All other use is reserved under the regulations of copyright law of the federal republic of germany and are intelectual propert of the author.

Notes on MathML and equation display

Generally I will provide XHTML with MathML extension (files ending on .xhtml). These files can be viewed normally in most browsers. Equations will get displayed only in such browsers that understand the W3C MathML standard Version 2 (1998).
Nativ support have: Mozilla 0.9.9+(Firefox, Camino, etc.), Netscape 7+, Amaya, IE 6+.
With Techexplorer or Math-Player plugin: IE 5.0+, Netscape 6.1.
MathML is not supported by Opera, iCab and Safari. The status of Konqueror (same engine as Safari) is unknown so far.
